Thread: V-AFC work well with JR Map Controller??

    They both work with the fuel map...do they work well in conjunction with each other??

    yes they work fine. The order should be:

    Sensor -> JR Map Converter -> V-AFC -> ECU.

    This is what I run.

    But dang then the V-AFC only controls the non-boosted fuel.. See now what would be nice, is if one device intercepted the MAP sensor, scaled the max boost down to 1 bar absolute, and allowed control like the V-AFC.. Then you could just use bigger injectors and forget about the FPR. Just use the stock and keep the pressure down.. It would be money, assuming you used big enough injectors to keep all of the adjustment in the negative with the stock fuel pressures.

    Wish someone would release a controller like that.. Or I could get a job w/ Apexi.. Too bad I don't speak Japanese.
